Exploration and Evaluation Program

Exploration

The company's tenement holding covers some of the most prospective ground in the district. A considerable portion of the landholding surrounding the two main project areas, named Trilogy and Kundip, remains unexplored. In these areas much of the Archean basement is under cover. As the company moves to expand the current resource base, this ground will be subjected to aggressive and modern exploration campaigns, aimed at identifying new discoveries.

The company continues to explore for further base metal, gold and nickel deposits. Additional geological, geochemistry, geophysical and drilling resources will be combined as the search for further discoveries continues.

Evaluation

Tectonic is committed to bringing the Phillips River Project to production and is conducting exploration and metallurgical evaluation programs to build further confidence in the project. The company has recognised that the two Phillips River resource areas, Trilogy and Kundip, have different characteristics that call for separate approaches to unlock value. Tectonic is therefore progressing to a bankable feasibility study via a two-pronged approach.

  • At Trilogy, Tectonic is focused upon optimising the complex metallurgy to improve recoveries from the known resource.
  • At Kundip, the focus is on expanding the resource and reserve base through drill testing of extensions to the high grade lodes along strike and at depth along with conducting regional searches for repeats of mineralized structures undercover.
